Reflecting on the success of last year's awards

With voting well underway and only three weeks to go until we announce the finalists for this year, excitement is building for the Insurance choice awards 2024. But first, in this week’s newsletter, we’re looking back at the success of last year’s awards.

2023 saw insurance companies play an increasingly important role, providing ongoing support for customers throughout the cost of living crisis. So last year's awards gave us a chance to recognise and congratulate those who went above and beyond during that difficult period. As always, the awards were 100% down to the voice of the customer based on the reviews we received – making the achievement even more special.

Amidst this challenging market backdrop, our awards in 2023 were extremely competitive. The ceremony took place at The Underglobe London, hosted by comedian Lucy Porter.

It was striking to see such a diverse mix of companies in the room – reflecting the range of categories in the awards. In total, 18 awards were handed out on the night.

We were delighted to see everyone have such a fantastic night at the event. With delicious food and drink on offer, followed by music and and top-notch entertainment, the evening gave everyone a chance to let their hair down and celebrate with their teams. After such a busy year in the industry, they certainly deserved it!

This year, the Insurance choice awards 2024 are taking place at Banking Hall in London. Designed in the 1930s, this grand building served as the headquarters of Lloyd’s Bank until 2002.
