Reflecting on a remarkable year of growth and opportunity

As we approach the close of another transformative year, I want to take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished together and look ahead with excitement to what the future holds.

2024 has been a year of significant milestones for the Real Estate and Infrastructure division. The division achieved outstanding growth, driven by innovation, collaboration and a strong commitment to excellence. Our strategic acquisitions of SIG, GBES, Domutech and A-Reliance represent more than just growth—they signify a bold step forward in strengthening our expertise, expanding our service portfolio and reinforcing our commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence in the real estate sector.

Each of these companies brings unique strengths and capabilities to our family:

• SIG (Sustainable Investment Group) in the USA enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive sustainable solutions to our clients, ensuring their buildings are more environmentally responsible and efficient, supporting more than 500 LEED projects yearly. SIG offers comprehensive sustainability consulting services in green building certifications like LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and TRUE Zero Waste. Their expertise spans beyond ESG strategy development, and compliance with global standards like GRESB, and EU regulations.
• GBES (Green Building Education Services) also located in the USA broadens our reach in green building training services, supporting global goals toward a greener future. GBES supports not only individuals but also organizations aiming to enhance their employees' sustainability expertise.
• Domutech, Denmark’s market leader in property inspections, energy performance certifications and tech-enabled solutions, integrates cutting-edge technologies into our service offerings, making us more agile and adaptive in an ever-evolving industry.
• A-Reliance bolsters our position in Singapore in lift compliance and operability, deepening our impact across critical markets.

These services complement our sustainability portfolio such as Lime ESG data management portal service that allows continuous monitoring of ESG data to meet ESG reporting goals. We have additionally enhanced our sustainability efforts in Singapore by serving as a trusted third-party assessor for Green Mark, a local green building rating system designed to evaluate a building’s environmental impact and performance, developed by the local Building and Construction Authority. Our Business Unit Rail Services has also seen remarkable growth with new rail projects in key growth markets like India and a new program called ‘Green on track’ that provides a methodology for railway stakeholders to track their sustainability performance, introduced at InnoTrans, the world's largest trade fair for transport technology.
