Reflecting on My Summer Internship at Ericsson!

Reflecting on My Summer Internship at Ericsson!

During this summer I had the privilege of being able to work at Ericsson. My overall experience here has been phenomenal to say the least.?

I’m so grateful for the opportunity as well as for my amazing ASIC validation team who has made these first few couple weeks so smooth!

The culture and the warmth of the people I’ve met at Ericsson has left a lasting impression on me. I couldn’t have asked for a better summer opportunity . Every step of the way was a learning experience that has contributed to my growth as a professional , and I am deeply grateful for the relationships forged during this time !

My first task was tailored towards engineering a fuse decoder tool that captures the raw hex values in log files to human-readable format for ASIC failure analysis and then facilitating integration with Ericsson's Log tool. This was an amazing first project to work that I built from scratch utilizing all the skills that I procured during school and seeing how well I could display my knowledge. My next assignment was geared towards the data analytics aspect and it was to go through massive log files where I developed a ML tool to analyze and categorize errors from syslogs and logs, enabling pattern recognition and? correlation of system crashes for enhanced debugging.? Throughout this internship, I expanded my Python skills, improved my coding, and enhanced my data analytics, machine learning, and NLP capabilities. This hands-on experience allowed me to explore new ways to uncover patterns and develop predictive models that provide impactful insights, aimed at improving Ericsson's future strategies in ASIC issue analysis. ?These tasks were both challenging and rewarding , as they all worked to hone my analytical skills and attention to detail. . This learning experience also gave me a glimpse into the world of semiconductors and telecommunications, enriching my knowledge about ASIC validation.

As I wrap up this summary I would like to give a huge thanks to my amazing manager , Kristy Cates , who made working here the best experience I could have gotten .? I am also deeply grateful for the guidance and mentorship provided by Vikram Meka . His support throughout the program was crucial and made this experience even more rewarding . I would also like to thank my entire team for their incredible guidance and support whenever I needed it.

Thank you , 爱立信 and Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas for providing me with this invaluable learning experience .?

I am wholeheartedly looking forward to fully immersing myself in this experience , and contributing to the next era of groundbreaking innovation at Ericsson.?
