I hope this post finds you well. Today, I want to take a moment to reflect on my incredible journey with 5050startups and share some exciting news about the next chapter in my professional life.

In 2017, I joined 5050startups, a remarkable organization that was registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the USA. Serving to bring Palestinian and Israeli entrepreneurs to start 50% equity start-ups.? I worked with intellectual board members, I was privileged to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the startup and innovation ecosystem. Our mission was clear: No for politics and Yes for Economic equality for Palestinian and Israeli startups.? In order to do that, we promoted diversity, inclusivity, and gender and ethnicity balance within our small world of startups.

In 2019, Dr. Alit Weil and I co-founded 5050startups Amuta, a not-for-profit organization with a similar mission but with a more global focus. This endeavor was driven by our shared passion for creating opportunities for underrepresented voices in entrepreneurship. Together, we embarked on a journey to make a lasting impact on the startup landscape.

As time went by, my role evolved, and I was honored to serve as the co-chairperson alongside Dr. Weil. Together, we worked tirelessly to further the organization's mission and values. We collaborated closely with the dedicated operations and management team at 5050startups, as well as our esteemed colleagues on the board of directors. It was a privilege to be part of such a driven and committed team.

Yesterday marked a significant milestone in my journey with 5050startups. It was my last day as co-chairperson of the board, and I tendered my resignation. This decision was not made lightly and comes with mixed emotions. While I'm incredibly proud of the work we've accomplished together and the impact we've had, I believe it's time for a new generation of leaders to carry the torch forward.

I have full confidence in the organization's ability to continue its mission, and I'm excited to watch it grow and thrive in the years to come. My decision to step down from my role as co-chairperson allows me to explore new opportunities and avenues, all while continuing to support the cause that means so much to me.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire 5050startups community, from the dedicated alumni, and team members to my fellow board directors, and all the passionate individuals who have supported us along the way. It's been an incredible journey, and I look forward to staying connected with you all as I embark on this new adventure.

Special gratitude to all the partners, donors, and mentors, and all those who believed in 5050startups and supported along the journey with money and time.

In conclusion, as one chapter closes, another opens. I am eager to see where this new path will take me and how I can continue to contribute to the important work of promoting diversity and inclusivity in startups.
