Reflecting on My First Year Since the Release of "The Digital Mind of Tomorrow"

July 12, 2022, marked a significant milestone in my life—the release of my debut book, "The Digital Mind of Tomorrow." This book delves into the intricate relationship between technology and society, challenging our outdated social structures and urging us to rethink our approach to technology as vibrant human beings. First and foremost, I extend my sincerest gratitude to all who have supported and contributed to this journey. A partial list of names can be found at the end.

To Myself

I have always admired individuals who possess the ability to articulate their ideas and thoughts on paper, allowing others to perceive their vision. Truth be told, even as a writer myself, I have found it challenging to encapsulate my wild thinking into words.

While some find clarity by organizing their thoughts through mind maps and words, I have often felt hindered by this process, as it prevents the free development of my ideas at their ideal pace and flow. My wish is to invent a telepathy machine that would enable us to read each other's minds and communicate at the same time, transcending the need to translate our thoughts into words or images.

On another level, I must admit that I am not particularly fond of the process of translating our thoughts into words or images due to its potential for deception, whether intentional or unintentional.

The beauty, however, lies in the fact that no matter how hard one tries, an authentic and intuitive mind cannot be deceived. But what do we do when our intuition seems selective, and telepathy machines remain confined to the realm of imagination?

Throughout my personal journey, I have discovered that asking questions holds profound significance in my mode of communication. It is through the art of questioning—both directed at the world and introspectively—that my path has taken shape.

It is this very inclination that gave birth to "The Digital Mind of Tomorrow," my book, which comprises a tapestry of questions born from a series of relentless "whys." Why does the world grapple with so much unrest? Why are we as obsessed with technology as we are today? Why do pressing issues persist despite our dedicated efforts? Why do we find ourselves overwhelmed even when we surpass our own expectations? Why do we remain trapped on the hamster wheel, hesitant to take the critical steps necessary for genuine progress?

These questions, reflective of our collective quandaries, provoked my curiosity and propelled me to explore the depths of knowledge and insight. I sought to delve beyond the surface level, seeking understanding that transcends conventional wisdom. Each question posed in "The Digital Mind of Tomorrow" is an invitation to reflect, to challenge the status quo, and to embark on a journey of profound self-discovery and societal transformation.

Even to this day, I am still searching for the reasons behind writing this book.

Yes, it aims to help us understand how technology has impacted society, businesses, and human behavior.

Yes, it seeks to unveil the truths and implications of our digital world.

Yet, I find these answers insufficient. They do not fully capture the essence of why I embarked on this endeavor, for I perceive this book as a calling—a call to build the better world we all wish to see. It is a call to challenge the status quo and redefine success measurement through bold actions and collective effort, transcending geography, culture, and socioeconomic status.

I am not satisfied with merely addressing the surface manifestations of problems such as poverty, inequality, climate change, or unemployment. My desire is to solve the root causes so that these superficial reflections cease to exist. Rather than offering temporary band-aid solutions, my inspiration lies in tackling the fundamental drivers of these problems. It requires a keen understanding of the complex dynamics at play and the courage to challenge existing norms and structures.

That is my mission—to fundamentally improve the lives of others, not through band-aid solutions but by targeting the underlying issues. Poverty, environmental degradation, exclusion, and economic instability should not even be concerns if we comprehend their causes and take tangible action to address them.

Any individual or entity unaware of the higher purpose behind their pursuits cannot effectively contribute to eliminating these pressing issues. Without consciousness and conscience, a sustainable future remains an empty dream as social initiatives struggle to keep pace with the damages caused by capitalism.

To Us

If all these points I raised appear too radical, that is precisely why I chose to discuss them now. I genuinely believe that I am not alone in contemplating these matters. In the past, present, and future, somewhere in the world, there are individuals who prioritize values and well-being above all else. They bear a responsibility to select the right path for their lives, make a profound impact, and contribute to a better world. They possess a mission bestowed upon them by the universe. Their pursuit surpasses the realm of "making a living" and encompasses justice, freedom, sustainability, and more. There is no distinct separation between their professional and personal lives. They embody their authentic selves in every facet of existence.

If you resonate with these ideas, I extend a warm virtual hug to you and welcome you into my world. You can reach out to me, as I am desperate to connect and engage with like-minded spirits, those who share a passion for transformative change.

I have always believed in the power of community-centered collaboration, fostering confident and passionate individuals who can join forces in a shared cause, amplify our voices, spread our message, and gradually ignite a global movement of co-innovation and co-production.

While the second book is on my to-do list, it does not prevent me from sharing my ongoing thoughts in real-time , furthering the mission and momentum.

I am truly blessed to have released it in a timely manner, understanding that in the grand scheme of things, taking action at the right moment holds far greater significance than the elusive pursuit of perfection. At every milestone in my life, I will return to this book, an enduring testament to the genesis of something extraordinary—a timeless embodiment of my journey.

Thank you all.

Isabella
