Reflecting on Growth and Gratitude: Highlights from Earthchild Project’s Annual General Meeting

At Earthchild Project (ECP), each year is an opportunity to grow, connect, and reimagine our impact. Our recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) was a powerful reflection of this journey. Hosted online, our AGM brought together a diverse group of attendees: volunteers, dedicated donors, passionate team members, committed teachers, Earthchildren, board members, and ECP eV representatives. We celebrated achievements for 2023, looked toward future goals, and strengthened the bonds that make Earthchild Project a thriving community. Watch the AGM video below!

A Year of Milestones and Moments

Opening with a warm welcome and video slideshow of 2023 in pictures, the AGM provided an inspiring overview of our achievements in 2023. Highlights included the creation of our beautiful Ntwasahlobo classroom, generously funded by The Shala Yoga Studio, and the Yomelela classroom, made possible through support from Nevermined GmbH . We also launched the ECP Resource Hub, an invaluable tool for expanding our reach and resources, and proudly saw our Take 5 guided meditation reach thousands of listeners through Bulungula Community Radio ( Bulungula Incubator ). These milestones reflect the dedication of our supporters and the impact of community-driven efforts across all our programmes.

A particularly moving segment of our AGM was our ECP Gratitude Wall, a vibrant digital collage that captured messages of appreciation, memories, and reflections shared by attendees. This wall is a testament to the love and dedication of our community, honouring the connections that drive our mission forward. The messages reflected the warmth, resilience, and shared vision within Earthchild Project, reinforcing the importance of community support in achieving lasting change.
