Reflecting on Gratitude - A Journey of Growth and Opportunities

As we gather around the warmth of the Thanksgiving season ??, it's a time of reflection, a moment to pause and express gratitude for the myriad blessings in our lives. Today, I want to share with you, my cherished readers, some of the things that fill my heart with thankfulness.

The Foundation of Love and Health

First and foremost, I am deeply thankful for the love of my family and friends. This year, as I turned 50??, their unwavering support and affection have been my anchor. My health, a gift I cherish more with each passing year, has allowed me to embrace life’s adventures with vigor and enthusiasm.

Lessons from the Past

I'm also grateful for my past experiences. Every challenge faced, and every success celebrated, especially my work with ITX Corp, has given me some amazing friends for life, and shaped me into the person I am today. These experiences have instilled in me an insatiable thirst for knowledge, driving me to continually grow both personally and professionally.

Milestones of the Month

This month has been particularly fulfilling.

• I had the honor of being an Ambassador at CultureAmp's Culture First Global event alongside DeMario Bell.
• The collaboration with AMS and Phil Albinus on my article about using AI in Talent Acquisition has been a significant achievement.
• Equally thrilling was working with Wowledge on the “HR Process Design with Kanban” article, now ranking on the first page of Google for “Kanban in HR“ — a testament to the power of effective SEO!
• I eagerly anticipate speaking at the Agile Alliance Minicon on December 8th, joining esteemed panelists like Mark Kilby and Snehal Talati to discuss "The Future of Work – Agile, AI and You."

Innovations and Learning

OpenAI’s DevDay announcements, and particularly the GPT Agents feature allowed me to create my own GPTs Talent Magnet ?? and Social Media Wizard ??♂?, as well as the GPT Creator Canvas Guide ???, which has been a remarkable journey. Special thanks to Daan van Rossum for featuring my work on FlexOS Future Work and the AI & Agile meetup.

Completing the certification for the "Introduction to the Self Determination Theory" course by Professor Richard Ryan was an enlightening experience. My Positive Intelligence Pod with Acres of Diamonds, where I am pursuing a Coach certification, continues to be a source of inspiration and personal growth.

Looking Ahead

The opportunity to create a 6-hour course on the impact of AI in HR with a European Digital Marketing School is a milestone I eagerly anticipate. Not only is the course coming out great, but also I am learning A LOT in the process of creating it, and can’t wait to put that learning into practice with other courses.

I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming publication of the interview with my friend @Thaisa Fernandes on the @latinxinpower podcast. It was really fun to record and I hope it's going to be interesting for you to listen to.

And, of course, the OpenAI saga continues to provide endless entertainment??. I have been part of boards that I thought were a bit dysfunctional at the time, but I'm thankful it was never that bad.

(Side note: There's an apocryphal "Chinese curse", which can be either a curse or a blessing that allegedly translates into:

"May you live in interesting times."

Just looking at the last 3 years, don't you think we're living the full extent of this curse/blessing?)
