As the dust settles on Elisa Polystar 's #UserMeeting2024, it's clear that the event was a milestone in the ongoing dialogue about automation within the telecoms industry. Over three intensive days, we explored the cutting edge of automated assurance, network analytics, and customer experience management with some of the brightest minds in the field.
?
The diversity of our attendees – from network operations experts at Deutsche Telekom to service operations specialists at Vodafone – underscored the wide-ranging impact of our solutions. As Thomas Nilsson , our Chief Product Officer, noted, "The challenges we're addressing aren't isolated to one area of operations. They span the entire network lifecycle, from deployment to optimization."
?
5G Standalone (SA) was a hot topic, with many operators keen to discuss their roadmaps and challenges. A representative from T-Mobile Austria shared, "The transition to 5G SA isn't just a technical upgrade – it's a complete rethinking of how we deliver and assure services." This sentiment was echoed in our sessions on automated assurance, where we showcased how AI and machine learning are revolutionizing network management.
?
Customer experience remained at the forefront of discussions. Tilly Gilbert from STL Partners presented compelling research on the financial impacts of AI and automation in networks, estimating that "an average telecom operator can draw financial benefits equivalent to 5% of their annual revenue through adding AI automation to the networks and telcos."
?
Our case study sessions were particularly well-received. A representative from Bouygues Telecom remarked, "Seeing how other operators are tackling similar challenges gives us new perspectives on our own transformation journey." These real-world examples sparked lively debates and idea-sharing during our networking breaks.

Perhaps the most valuable outcome of the week was the sense of community fostered among attendees. The telecoms industry faces unprecedented challenges, from the complexities of 5G SA to the ever-increasing demands for superior customer experience. By bringing together diverse perspectives and fostering open dialogue, we're collectively shaping the future of network assurance and analytics.

As we look ahead to 2025 and beyond, it's clear that the pace of innovation in our industry shows no signs of slowing. At Elisa Polystar, we're committed to staying at the forefront of these developments, working hand-in-hand with our users to turn challenges into opportunities. As one satisfied attendee summed it up, "This isn't just about new technology – it's about reimagining what's possible in telecoms operations."
