Reflecting on 2024

This year has been a whirlwind of entrepreneurial growth. I dove headfirst into building my AI and Automation Consulting practice, focusing on serving the public sector and healthcare industries.

The journey has been akin to navigating the New York City subway – a mix of express trains, local lines, unexpected delays, and the constant need to adapt.

My initial goal was to become a certified business with the City, State, and Federal governments. This involved navigating unfamiliar territory, learning to write compelling capability statements, and proving my qualifications as a woman-owned business.

Along the way, I forged valuable relationships with government decision-makers, partnered with the SBA New York District Office and NYC Small Business Services , and attended countless webinars and podcasts to deepen my understanding of government contracting and the transformative power of AI in healthcare.

A pivotal moment came at the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition in Orlando. Witnessing the passion for healthcare innovation among 30,000 attendees solidified my focus on this sector. I immersed myself in healthcare AI use cases, joined the local HIMSS New York State Chapter , and connected with experienced consultants.

My SCORE Mentors provided invaluable guidance, encouraging me to focus on targeted solutions and build a strong foundation.

While building relationships within the public sector has been a longer road than anticipated, I'm constantly learning and adapting. The most rewarding aspect has been connecting with other inspiring entrepreneurs who provide unwavering support and camaraderie.

This year has been a period of immense personal and professional growth. It's been challenging, but incredibly rewarding. Entrepreneurship is a journey of continuous learning and adaptation, and I'm thrilled to be on this express train to success.

The next year is presenting itself with another amazing opportunity for both personal and professional growth, which I am excited to share in 2025!
