Reflecting on 2024

Reflecting on 2024

2024 was an eventful year for us, read on to discover some of the highlights that marked our year.

We started the year by launching our own importing company, Vinattieri 1385 , which also serves as the commercial arm of our wineries in the US.

We took full ownership of Col Solare. After decades of collaboration with Chateau Ste. Michelle, we now lead the next phase of this iconic winery in beautiful Red Mountain.

We worked tirelessly to continue refining the exclusive wines and experiences we offer at Antinori Napa Valley atop Atlas Peak, one of the most beautiful tasting room experiences in Napa.

At Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, in our first full year under Marchesi Antinori 's ownership and guidance, we made some of the best wines the estate has ever produced. These wines proudly display the terroir while embodying the style and sensitivity that has driven the family's winemaking for over 600 years.

Sadly we lost an icon earlier this summer with the passing of our founder, friend, and mentor Warren Winiarski. His wisdom will forever guide our work as farmers and winemakers.

We achieved Regenerative Organic Certification for our historic vineyards FAY & S.L.V., the first vineyards to be certified by the Regenerative Organic Alliance in the Stags Leap District AVA. This is a wonderful step towards our never-ending quest to protect the place that makes our wines so special, ensuring future generations can make wine in the same pristine conditions we enjoy today.

Our wines were featured on world's most influential lists, notably: 2021 Tignanello (#3), 2022 Santa Cristina Cabernet Sauvignon (#49), and 2021 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon (#57) were all in the top 100 of Wine Spectator.

2021 Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Cask 23 Cabernet Sauvignon (#18) was included as one of the "50 Greatest Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons of the 21st Century" on Robb Report.

We managed the business of the Antinori Family in the United States in a challenging market, with lots of uncertainty and headwinds. Yet we did so successfully without compromising on what's important to us, our guests, our partners, wine collectors around the world, and fans of our wines new & old; our commitment to excellence.

As the year quickly comes to a close, we hope that passion and commitment to excellence will continue to be the guiding light for our work in 2025. Join us in celebrating the year we leave behind and raise a glass to an even better future.

Merry Everything - Happy Always

Much love, Juan

Just updating your 2024 reflection with the now relevant 100 point score from January 2025. Everyone at the table was gobsmacked or more by the '21 Cask 23 (shown on the corner of the table). Everyone ordered at least one bottle, everyone agreed: worthy of Warren's and everyone else's efforts to squeeze little teardrops of joy into a glass bottle to savor another time.
