Reflecting on 2024: Innovation, Connection and Curiosity

As I was thinking of writing this blog, as always I turned to Google Trends for inspiration. Their 2024 recap video gave me goosebumps, seeing how far we have come and how quickly. From politics to entertainment, sports, and even mother nature, all had their marvels and mysteries intertwined this year. While this blog is about my 2024 journey, I wanted to share the video with my readers to relive the moments before we step into the new year.

As 2024 draws to a close, for me personally I reflect on a year shaped by three powerful forces: Innovation, Connection, and Curiosity. These themes have woven through my personal and professional life, creating a tapestry of growth and gratitude for what lies ahead.

This year has been a testament to the power of innovation. Across the globe, organizations are accelerating Gen AI adoption. Being immersed in a customer-centric company that prioritizes cutting-edge solutions and collaborative problem-solving has been truly transformative. Working alongside brilliant minds, I’ve witnessed firsthand how innovation is driving real-world impact. Each project has presented unique challenges, demanding creative solutions and fostering a spirit of teamwork and collaboration.

Kyndryl’s commitment to a culture of “Kinship” has been instrumental in navigating the complexities of Innovation. The support and mentorship I’ve continuously received have been invaluable in pushing boundaries and embracing new approaches.

Power of Connection

The power of connection at work and in life has been a constant source of inspiration for me. From mentoring young marketing talent to engaging in thought-provoking conversations around tech and ABM, 2024 has provided a fertile ground for personal and intellectual growth.

This power of connection extends to the 2000+ online community I’ve cultivated through Medium, Substack, and LinkedIn. The engagement, feedback, and shared passion for storytelling from readers and fellow writers have been incredibly motivating. This connection has fueled my desire to explore new ideas, learn new things and share my perspectives with the world.

Whether it’s delving into a new area of expertise, exploring different perspectives, or simply staying open to new experiences, curiosity has been the engine of my growth.
