As we approach the end of the year, I have been having some time off as I do every December and I have been taking the opportunity to reflect on the past 12 months. I will be doing this in a more structured way for my business with my team as I go into the new year, but I wanted to share some of the many highlights from this past year – business and personal.
-????????Becoming an EOS Worldwide implementer.?This has been something that has been on my radar for such a long time. 2022 was the year that I finally made this happen and I am so pleased that I did. Joining the EOS community of implementers has been everything I hoped it would be. Working with clients as they embark on their EOS journey is a pleasure. I can’t wait to do so much more of this in 2023.
-????????Season Two of The Elevate Podcast?– I have really enjoyed hosting another season of my podcast. It’s given me the opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and most of all – share some really valuable conversations with the listeners. I’m always blown away by the generosity of my guests to share their learning and experience with us. I also enjoyed having Frank & Fearless Associate Coach, Kelly Feehan co-host with me for some of the interviews. I can’t wait to return with season 3 in the new year. We have so much planned – it is looking great! You can catch up on the previous 2 seasons here:?https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/elevate-with-adam-harris/id1583652484
-????????The Leadership Lab –?hosting The Leadership Lab has been a great opportunity and enabled me to?interview leaders from the region of Taranaki who have shared their thoughts, wisdom, and insight with us. Anyone who knows me knows that I love talking to people and asking questions so hosting The Leadership Lab (sponsored by OURCLOUD and in collaboration with? Bryan Vickery ) was awesome. You can watch all the interviews here:?https://www.youtube.com/@theleadershiplabnz8155/videos
-????????Travel?– finally getting the opportunity to travel again has been fantastic. One of my travel highlights was a trip away with my daughter Amelie. Despite getting Covid and not feeling my best when I returned, having the opportunity to spend quality time with her was wonderful. Having the chance to leave New Zealand and get away to Australia with my wife Naomi has been another highlight of the year. Being able to take time away and get back to Sydney has really filled my cup at the end of a busy year. I am definitely looking forward to planning more quality connection time and travel in 2023.
-????????Welcoming my parents to New Zealand.?My parents have been visiting this month and it has been such a joy to finally have them with us again. The Covid and travel situation has really been challenging but I am grateful that they are finally here. Seeing my girls back with their Grandparents has been wonderful.
-????????Men’s group.?I’ve shared before in articles about how I have found being involved in the local men’s group beneficial for me personally and also seeing how those attending benefited too. Being involved in the men’s group has been an important part of 2022 for me. Creating and holding a space where they can be open, honest, vulnerable, and without judgment is something that I am proud to be able to do.?
As I move into 2023, I will continue to reflect on the learning from 2022 and make plans and intentions for the year ahead. I’ll be sharing my approach to this with you soon.

If you haven’t yet had an opportunity to pause and reflect on the year gone by, I’d encourage you to take a moment and ask yourself:
1.??????What is your personal highlight for 2022?
2.?????What did you not do this year that you wish that you had? How can you make it happen in 2023?
3.?????Is there anyone that you haven’t connected with as much as you’d have liked to in the past year? If so, call or email them and arrange a catch-up in January.
I’d love for you to share your highlights with me. Celebrating achievements, big and small, is so important!
Finally, thank you to each and every one of you for being on this journey with me. Whether you are reading this as a friend, client, connection, or someone who happened to stumble upon this article, I appreciate you all.
Best wishes for 2023,
Adam Harris
