?? Reflecting on 10 Years at Citi: Growth, Innovation, and Building Meaningful User Experiences ??

As I mark a decade with 花旗 it's a perfect moment to reflect on why I began this journey, why I’m still here, and how much has evolved over the years.?

1. Why I Joined:?I joined Citi India on 10th November 2014, with a simple but powerful motivation: To make a difference in how people experience products and services. The opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, people-centered organization was exactly what I was looking for, and it’s what pulled me in from day one.
2. Why I Still Do It:?Ten years later, my “why” has only grown stronger. As Head of User Experience and Design, I have the privilege of crafting products which create impact and make a real difference for our employees and users. The purpose of creating meaningful, user-centered experiences continues to fuel my passion, and every day brings new opportunities to innovate and improve.
3. How Much I’ve Grown:?Over these years, I’ve grown not just as a professional, but as a leader. I’ve had the chance to sharpen my skills, embrace challenges, and continuously learn in a supportive environment. This journey has expanded my understanding of User Experience, Strategy, and the power of Collaboration.?A huge thank you to the incredible leaders, Andy Blackman , Robert Beckwith , Ganesh Baliga , Saurav Majumdar , Kunal Chandawalla , Jay Venkatanarayanan, Nabarun Bhattacharya , Rajesh M K , Rajesh D. Rao , Kiran Naik , and Rustam Khullar . Your guidance and support have not only shaped my career but have also been instrumental in establishing a user-focused culture within our organization.
4. Promotions Earned: I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, from stepping into leadership roles to eventually heading the UX team. Each promotion represented a new challenge and a chance to contribute more, and I’m thankful for the trust that’s been placed in me.?
5. New Friends Made:?One of the greatest rewards has been the people. From colleagues who became my life-long friends – Arpan Shah , Prashant Vyas , Ankit Sethi , Saket Bansal – to the amazing team whom I have been working with over the years, including Aditya Chitale , Shivangi Gupta , Meraj Anjum , Parvinder Singh , SAI GIRISH , Mahesh Awati , Atul Ramdas Sultane , Hiral S. , Anirudha Dhopate , Navdeep Athwal, PhD , Hiren P. , Stephen Costello , Conor ONeill , Daniel Chandler and many more. Thank you for making this journey rich with so many?memorable moments. Your creativity, dedication, and passion for delivering exceptional experiences inspire me every day. Together, we’ve achieved so much, from redefining onboarding journeys to enhancing our digital ecosystem to better serve our employees. I am grateful to work with such a talented team that consistently brings our vision to life.
