Reflecting on 10-year Journey at Microsoft - "Thank You"

It’s my 10th Anniversary at Microsoft! I have been lucky to touch the lives of so many people, including my colleagues, teammates, and customers along the way. I am proud to work at Microsoft & the experiences, exposure I got over the last 10 years at Microsoft, which has shaped me what I am today.

Looking back, I joined Microsoft in Sep 2012 from success at the London Olympics 2012 & delivering some of the best work of my life. Thank you Femi Bamisaiye , Peter Normand for being my coach, mentor at the London Olympics 2012, giving me some of the most high-profile programmes to manage at LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games) & the career guidance, which paved the way for my Microsoft Career. Thank you Greg Purcell as my hiring manager in Microsoft for trusting me to make a difference at Microsoft.

Microsoft is an Institution & is very important part of my (work) life, much more than a “job which pays the bill ” and this last 10 years have allowed me to grow personally & professionally, I have worked with some of the best people in the Industry across the globe, I am thankful for the opportunities Microsoft has given me in last 10 years, where I can learn, grow, unlearn, learn and most importantly I had so much fun while working at Microsoft, discovering my own work values , draw purpose from my work, ?learning about the work culture what matters to me / which I appreciate,?looking forward many more of such wonderful years, I have been always blessed with fantastic managers, leaders , mentors, colleagues & good friends made over years in our MSFT world.

I love the Microsoft “Learn it All “culture and feel “lifelong learning” is a superpower everyone has within.
