?? Reflect, ?? Reset, ?? Recharge: Preparing for the New Year with ADHD ??

Does the end of the year feel like an overwhelming blur of unfinished goals and endless clutter?

For ADHD brains like ours, this season can feel like a life has gifted us with another Frustration Fruitcake.?

Here’s a simple, ADHD-friendly approach to close out the year with clarity, and step into 2025 with confidence!

?? Reflect: Take a moment to pause and celebrate your wins. What brought you joy? What lessons will you carry forward? Use a mind map, a short journal session, or even talk it out with someone you trust.

?? Reset: Clear the slate—mentally and physically. Start small by decluttering one drawer or organizing your calendar. A fresh environment creates space for fresh ideas.

? Recharge: Refill your energy and motivation. Rest, engage in joyful activities, and reconnect with your “why.” Recharging isn’t about doing nothing; it’s about doing what fills you up. (TIP: Try throwing on a favorite tune that you can’t help but dance to! (Here’s one of the favorite dance jams for our family!)

Once you’ve reflected, reset, and recharged, you’ll be ready to think about your goals for the new year. And don’t worry—traditional goal-setting isn’t the only way! ??
