Referrals Don't Grow On Trees

Referrals Don't Grow On Trees

Let's talk about referrals, shall we?

You've probably heard the phrase "referrals don't grow on trees." And let me tell you, it's absolutely true. If you want referrals, you've got to put in the work.

Now, if you're not already using referrals to grow your business, you're missing out big time. Referrals are like gold. They're powerful because they come from people who already trust you, like you and who have already experienced the

value you provide.

They trust you and your brand, and they're happy to recommend you to others.

But here's the thing: you can't just sit back and wait for referrals to magically

come your way. You've got to work for them.

Build bonds with these people

Deepen the relationships with them

Provide excellent service

Go above and beyond to make them feel valued and appreciated.

Don't forget to ask for referrals! This might seem obvious, but you'd be

surprised how many businesses forget to do this. So, ask your clients, referral sources and strategic partners directly for referrals, or include a note in your email signature or on your website asking for them.

You could even incentivize referrals by offering

discounts or other rewards, but I never feel this HAS to happen, it's just a nice way to say thank you.

Remember, referrals are not a one-time event. You've got to create a plan and follow it. You've got to keep providing excellent service and value to everyone around you and most importantly you need to help them however you can.

Referrals don't grow on trees, but with the right strategy and effort, you can build a thriving referral network that will help your business grow and succeed. Now, get out there and start working for those referrals!
