So, what are Referral Hubs?
- Every member has defined their ‘inch-wide’, mile-deep niche’. It’s the field where they are clearly the expert, and the niche can be defined in 10 words or less. Specialising makes you way more referable. Once the niche is defined, then...
- Every member builds a list of their prime Referral Partners, their ‘Referral Hubs’. These are the businesses who have their clients before, during and after them. There are no businesses more valuable for creating referral flows to members.
- The Owner of the Referral Network (BBG, BNI amongst many others) and the Chapter Leader seek to have just 2 to 3 Hubs in each Group. Once members are aware of the value for their business, they have a great story to tell to potential new Referral Partner members. Growing members who will stay is now much easier.
- The Referral Partners and niches of all members are easy to access online. This will keep them fully informed and allows them to network across multiple Chapters.
There must be a consistent and loud bell rung, with a single and loud warning ring with 5 seconds to go. Best to have a volunteer to ring the bell, not the Chapter Leader. Guests should be given just 20 seconds, to say their name, business name and industry.
Regular educational seminars and workshops are held to help members build better and more profitable businesses.
