In an Instagram Reel, Adam Mosseri emphasised that Instagram's focus remains on connecting people with friends and exploring interests through short-form videos. He explained that long-form content, like 10- or 20-minute videos, detracts from these goals because it reduces interaction with friends and lowers the likelihood of sharing content.?

YouTube Tests “Add Yours” Sticker for Shorts
YouTube is testing a feature inspired by Instagram and TikTok called "Add Yours," aimed at boosting engagement with Shorts. It will allow creators to prompt viewers with challenges or questions, encouraging them to respond with their own videos. The experiment is currently limited to a small group of Shorts creators globally
