Hello Everyone, Just last week I posted an article “Seeking In-Kind Donations”, and a big thank you to all those who have shared it.
Today I am still “Seeking In-Kind Donations” for a number of organizations, but this one is a very specific request from The Redwood Shelter here in Toronto regarding their Back To School needs.
The Redwood provides programs and services that support women and children to live free from abuse and all other forms of violence and oppression. They have been there to help women and children live free from domestic violence, free from fear and provide the emotional, practical and social support that families need to get their lives back on track – The Back To School program is just one of the many programs they do to help children and youth with Back To School needs. Many have so little or nothing at all, and going back to school with NEW supplies and items helps rebuild confidence and self-esteem.
Unfortunately due to some challenges this year they have reached out for help and asked that I share their in-kind donation request to local businesses, suppliers and retailers to help fill this need.
To keep things simple I have posted there actually wish list below, along with the direct contacts at The Redwood you need to speak with. Email or call them as soon as possible because school starts soon and any support that can be given is greatly appreciated.
Feel free also to share this post and request with others in your network, and thank you for your time and hope you can support The Redwood today.

If that isn’t possible, and children’s bags are available, then 35 for elementary school kids, and 15 for high school kids would be great.
