Reduced production time, increased safety and equipment excellence.

A new production line in Tecno’s production facility has been implemented reducing production time.

The new production line has been installed to insource essential and delicate stages of the production process, taking our reliable and accurate product to the next level for the benefit of our customers. Insourcing important stages of the production allows us to take over the control of critical steps in the production process, as well allowing us to continuously ensure the highest quality of the components.

“We expect we will reduce manufacturing time by 25%, leading to a significant reduction in production time of sales orders” says Roberto Zuech, Operations Director, Protein EAME. “Furthermore we aim to be able to significantly increase performance in terms of flexibility and efficiency. Continuously optimizing our production capabilities, to include the most requested components in our own process, gives us the possibility to reduce the delivery time to our customers in line with our “Customer First” strategy.”

Other benefits to highlight:

• The new line enables us to extend the capability to produce components for aviary systems, in addition to what was already produced internally for conventional systems.
• Components are produced efficiently, and automatically, with a high level of precision and quality. Implementing the new line, the safety level of the plant has been increased even further. Unloading can be automatic, and a single operator per shift can drive the full production process.
• By implementing this critical step of the process, we will also reduce the quantity of scrap material.
