To reduce the tension on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries have agreed on 5 issues

The five issues that were agreed upon between the two are -:

1. The two sides will consult the consensus reached between the leaders to increase relations between India and China. It also includes not allowing disagreements to take the form of tension.

2. Both leaders admitted that the current situation regarding the border is not in the interest of both sides. The forces on both sides should continue the dialogue, disengage as soon as possible, maintain a proper distance from each other, and reduce tension.

3. To maintain peace and harmony in the areas of Indo-China border and border matters, both sides will follow all existing agreements and protocols and no action should be taken to increase tension.

4. Negotiations between the two sides should be continued through a special representative mechanism on the India-China issue. At the same time, negotiations will also be continued under the working mechanism on consultation and coordination in border matters.

5. As the tension subsides, the two sides should take steps to maintain peace in the border areas.

On the one hand, where the talks between the two foreign ministers were held in Moscow, on the other hand, the military dialogue on LAC is also going on. Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister and State Counselor Wang Yi also held talks on tension on the border in July. Both sides had agreed to maintain peace to prevent future incidents like Galvan Valley. During the talks, both sides also agreed that the forces should withdraw from the disputed area as soon as possible, and peace is restored there. But experts are also watching China's move behind it and advising India to be cautious of the dragon. Experts believe that this is China's time-buying technique and India needs to be vigilant.
