You have worked too hard to find and hire your new employee. Losing them early can be devastating.

  • Onboarding is critical

Have a detailed plan for the 1st day and week

Have a written 30, 60, and 90 day plan

Include agendas, goals, and expectations

  • Reward and recognize new employees frequently

Introduce them on the 1st day and before they start

  • Check in with new employees more than you think you should

Evaluate their engagement and look for signs of concern

  • Bonus tip - Ask them how it is going and discuss how to make their first 90 days even better
