Reduce, Reuse, Recycle : SAVE your Work Environment

Too much work, not enough time.

A lot going on, but who is working on what, and what is the status?

Team is working hard, burning out, but not accomplishing goals.

Reduce – Too many tools, too many processes, too many people involved. – How can you simplify and utilize the minimum resources to solve the most immediate pain point?

Reuse – Don’t start from scratch and/or assume that you are alone in solving the problem. Check with other teams to see if they have solved similar problems. Google! New tools/technology is not the only way to solve problems! It takes a balance of people, process, and technology to optimize the solution. Identify what IS working – and iterate. ?

Recycle – If you are not using something, get rid of it. If someone else can use it great, but don’t collect/save bygones. If it hasn’t been updated in 3 months, put it on the chopping block. If it hasn’t been touched in a year, get rid of it!
