As a feed additive, bile acids?has been widely used in livestock and poultry feed. Its function can firstly improve the digestion utilization rate of the feed, give full play to the value of the feed, and have the effect of promoting digestion and absorption of the fat and protein in the feed; Feed quality, reduce the damage of anti-nutritional factors and toxins contained in feed materials to the liver and intestines of livestock and poultry, ensure the health of animals and maintain production efficiency; again, bile acids can protect the intestinal liver axis and improve the intestinal environment, Maintain the balance of flora and enhance the resistance of animals to stress factors;?Secondly, it can stabilize feed quality, reduce the damage of anti-nutritional factors, toxins, etc. contained in feed materials to livestock liver and intestine, ensure animal health and maintain production efficiency;?Thirdly, bile acids can protect the intestinal and hepatic axis, improve the intestinal environment, maintain the balance of the flora, and enhance the animal's ability to resist stress factors.
In addition, bile acids can increase the absorption of fat-soluble vitamin A, D, E and K and pigments in the feed, especially by promoting the addition of bile acids in the feed of laying hens to improve egg quality;?Finally, bile acids can also be used as regulatory factor to participate in a variety of metabolisms, comprehensively regulate the body's internal environment, promote animal health, and increase productivity.
Application example of adding bile acid to layer?feed to reduce cost.
The experiment was conducted at a farm in Shandong, China. Chose two Hy-Line Brown?layer chicken houses with similar production performance. One house contained?48390 birds as the control group, and the second house contained?49268 birds as the test group. The control group used?the original formula feed. On the basis of the original formula, the metabolic energy of the test?group was reduced by 20?kcal/t, crude protein was reduced by 0.2%, and bile acids?200?g/t feed was added. After adjusting the formula, the feed cost was reduced by 13.79 RMB?(see Table 1 for formula adjustment). 12-week trial period (from 43 to 54 weeks).
Feeding management and statistics
The feeding management was?carried out according to the original management of the chicken farm. The feeding data mainly counted?the daily statistical production performance indicators such as laying?rate, egg weight, feed intake, broken & defective egg rate and mortality.
Results and analysis
It can be seen from the test results in Table 2 that reducing the energy by 20?kcal/t?and reducing the crude protein by 0.2%.?At the same time adding 200g/t feed of bile acids, the laying?rate, feed intake, egg weight, FCR, broken & defective egg rate and mortality have no effect.
Based on the above test results, it can be seen that properly reducing the energy and crude protein content of the feed, and adding bile acids?at the same time can improve the quality of the feed and save the cost of the feed.
