Biomaterials

There has been significant progress in the development of Biomaterials. Nordell works with a range of suppliers of green materials and champions their use to our customers.

To help our customers understand the merits of the biomaterials we source, Nordell have recently devised an innovative test product to help customers visualise, feel and test these bio material alternatives.

This concept allows these new biomaterials to be explored physically with a test plaque that has been moulded with bosses, ribs, differing wall sections, surface finish variations, flexible clips along with different draft angles.

Biomaterials are at the early stages of adoption, however Nordell have built an in depth understanding and knowledge of biomaterial capabilities. We can help you to switch quickly to a biomaterial alternative with similar properties to your current material.

We have invested in the very latest high speed electric injection moulding machines for the technological advantage and waste reduction, the engineered effectiveness of these machines and Nordell further investment in 300 KVA Solar has supported a 74% reduction in Net Zero scope 1 & 2 alone.??
