REDUCE HIU COST AND INCREASE SYSTEM EFFICIENCY

MANUFACTURING ULTRA LEAN LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT INTERFACE UNITS TO WORK WITH RENEWABLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR A ZERO CARBON FUTURE.
As we strive for higher efficiency and reduced carbon emissions HIU
based systems have taken to reducing primary flow temperatures to 60C,
this also allows renewable technologies into the plant room such as
heat pumps further reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. However,
reducing primary flow temperatures to 60C and still expecting the same
DHW flow rates can increase the primary return temperatures more often
than not above 30C, which is far outside the CIBSE and BESA
recommendations for good working practice. The Rhico TI45 ULTRA LEAN
HIU has been especially designed to operate with low primary
temperatures between 50 / 60C whilst producing DHW of up to 22.9 LPM
and offering a primary return temperature of 23.4C, ensuring system
efficiency is always at its optimum. For more information visit our
