Reduce the Distance to the Top with AI

Zig Ziglar was famous for saying, See You at the Top. As a motivational speaker, he encouraged everyone to achieve success, regardless of your starting point.?

You deserve to claim your position in the cohort of top performers.?HR leaders are often guilty of adopting?high performers and developing them into even better performers.

I've never thought that was a fair playing field in the corporate world. It wasn't fair that leaders cherry-picked the already successful and tended to dismiss the rest.?

Living in potential fueled by desire and action makes more sense to me.

What is your potential quotient??I prefer to live in the land of more opportunities rather than less.

Personal Potential Quotient

When applying for colleges, my goal was to get into the best university that would push me beyond my current knowledge and capabilities.?As an affirmation, I would say "Be the best that I can be."

Translation: What is my stretch university??

While consuming books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, the potential quotient was in high gear.

A few quotes come to mind when attempting to do my best work:

"Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher." —Oprah Winfrey
"A rising tide lifts all boats."?—John F. Kennedy
"The next best thing to being wise oneself is to live in a circle of those who are." —C.S. Lewis.

The Role of AI in Enhancing your Career Value

These ideas are reasons why adopting AI in your work will help you explore possibilities and help you advance in your career.

As AI alters the way you work and think,?the gap between the novice and the expert will shrink. This phrase is a contribution from my recent conversation with ChatGPT!

A paper published by Harvard and Wharton shared by Ethan Mollick (Wharton) calls it,?The Jagged Technological Frontier: The Effects of AI on Knowledge Worker Productivity and Quality.

Ethan summarized the impact on skills potential for the average and lower performing workers in his One Useful Thing blog.

People who are already performing at a high level will see less increase in performance than those at lower levels. The lower levels will benefit significantly. This is why the study suggests AI is the great equalizer.

And as the study suggests, the story goes?beyond productivity. The benefits include productivity and creativity!

I have seen resume writers creatively use AI to brainstorm different ways of presenting information, Marti Konstant, MBA. AI allows them to expand their abilities and better tailor information presentation for their clients. Excellent writers could always do this, but have seen good-but-not-great writers get even better at this.

AI may reduce the distance to the top , on the other hand it may cause the unexpected results , if we don't care how to use in an appropriate way.
