In May, we hosted two webinars focusing on the pros and cons of staff augmentation services for businesses. In "The Staffing Dilemma - In-House Specialist or Staffing Partner?" with experts Victoriia Horoshko and Katja Humenna , we explored whether to rely on in-house specialists or turn to staffing partners. In "Building the Perfect Team: In-House vs. Outstaffing for Salesforce Partners," with Khrystyna Pikh and Roman Hnativ we tackled issues like project delays and quality concerns, sharing stories and strategies to help you build the ideal team structure. Our sessions provided a fresh perspective on staffing solutions, cutting through the confusion and offering practical advice on integrating new talent into existing workflows.


Dreaming Big at CzechDreamin

Denys Denkovych from Redtag attended CzechDreamin on May 17, 2024, in Prague, the largest technical conference in Europe for Salesforce enthusiasts. The event covered key topics like Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and the integration of Slack & Salesforce. We shared expertise in these areas, providing valuable insights for attendees looking to elevate their skills and connect with industry leaders.


Vyshyvanka Day at Redtag

On May 16th, Ukraine celebrated Vyshyvanka Day. The "vyshyvanka," a traditional embroidered shirt, is the national attire of Ukrainians. This year, Redtaggers joined in the celebration, proudly wearing our vyshyvankas. Each vyshyvanka connects us to Ukraine's rich cultural heritage and identity. In these challenging times, the vyshyvanka is a powerful symbol of unity and resilience, worn by Ukrainians worldwide as a sign of our enduring spirit.


Salesforce World Tour Essentials in Oslo

Kateryna Lohinova represented Redtag at World Tour Essentials in Oslo, where the focus was on Data Cloud and Einstein. The event highlighted how AI can redefine business operations and customer experiences. We shared our insights on integrating AI-driven solutions, which have significantly improved our clients' workflows. The experience left us with fresh ideas and a renewed drive to push boundaries.

We had a fantastic time at Salesforce FY25 Field Day in Central Park, engaging in team-building activities like Kickball and Egg Toss. It was a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some fun, and build stronger connections. We’re grateful to everyone who made this event memorable.?


Highlights from Salesforce Connections in Chicago

Salesforce Connections 2024 in Chicago was an incredible experience. Traditionally, AI took center stage, demonstrating how it can boost revenue, save time, and enhance customer satisfaction. Workshops and sessions offered strategies for selling faster and growing loyalty using the Einstein 1 Platform. The connections and knowledge we gained are invaluable for our AI-driven projects. Learning from industry leaders like Meta, NBC Sports, and McKinsey & Company was especially enlightening.

Our team had an enriching experience at Wir sind Ohana, a Salesforce Dreamin' event in Berlin. The event provided a platform for sharing ideas and gaining insights into the latest Salesforce trends and innovations. Engaging with peers and industry experts was incredibly valuable, and we are excited to implement what we’ve learned.


Success Story That Made Us Proud

This month, we highlighted the inspiring story of Fjerby AS, a leader in Norway’s mountain safety construction. Facing challenges like unstable networks and complex field systems, their journey had its fair share of steep climbs. With a thorough health check and a custom mobile app, we helped Fjerby transform their Salesforce system, achieving solid results and climbing new heights of success.


Salesforce MVP Tips: How to Shine in the Salesforce Ecosystem

Becoming a Salesforce MVP is a dream for many professionals. Oleh Mykytyn , the only Salesforce MVP in Ukraine to win the title four consecutive times, shares his advice on making your mark. “While expertise is crucial in this matter, sharing knowledge in resonant ways is key “, says Oleh. “Engage genuinely with the community, mentor others, and focus on consistent, helpful engagement. Leadership is shown through action, not titles, and continuous learning will set you apart”. By embracing Oleh's insights and actively participating in the Salesforce community, you can pave your own path towards achieving excellence and recognition in your field.


IT News from Ukraine and Worldwide

Now, let’s look at the bigger picture and find out what’s been going on lately in the world of IT in Ukraine and beyond. So, here’s some of the news that caught our attention.

MacPaw Released a Book about the history of Ukrainian IT

MacPaw, in collaboration with Ist Publishing, has released a book titled "Innovation in Isolation: The Story of Ukrainian IT from 1940s to Present." This English-language book offers a popular science approach to the history of technology development in Ukraine from the 1940s to the present. The first part of the book covers the history of cybernetics in Ukraine up to 1991, featuring archival photos and interviews with those who knew the innovators of that era. The second part focuses on contemporary product companies like Ajax Systems, MacPaw, Grammarly, Petcube, Readdle, Jooble, Reface, and Depositphotos. Proceeds from the book sales will be directed to the MacPaw Foundation to support Ukrainian defenders and civilians affected by the war. The book launch and panel discussion took place on May 30th at the Book Arsenal Publishing Stage.

AI at Work Is Here. Now Comes the Hard Part?

In the past six months, AI usage at work has nearly doubled, reveals a study by Microsoft and LinkedIn. The study involved feedback from 31,000 people across 31 countries. While 79% of executives believe AI is crucial for staying competitive, 60% reported their companies lack a coherent AI strategy. Consequently, 75% of employees have started using AI independently, risking potential data breaches due to unsynchronized use. Additionally, AI skills are becoming essential for employment, with 66% of leaders unwilling to hire candidates without AI proficiency. Despite this growing dependency on AI, only 39% of AI-using employees have received formal training from their employers, underscoring a gap in structured AI education within organizations.
