This week, ten of Australia’s small to medium businesses will embark on the nine-month ANZ Business Growth Program, including Drew Parker and his management team at Queensland-based Redland Bay Roof Trusses.

Redland Bay Roof Trusses specialises in the design, production and supply of Roof Trusses, Floor Trusses, Pre-Nail Frames and Timber for the construction industry.

Since the family company’s conception in 1988, it has built a solid reputation for quality, service and reliability – a reputation Drew is keen to uphold now that he is at the helm and is seeking to build the company’s continued success and future growth.

Identifying opportunities to innovate and strategic focus, are high on the list of priorities for participating in the Business Growth Program, however time away with his management team will also be valuable.

Innovation is such a big part of our culture now, we are always learning and open to anything that can make a difference, always with a view of continuous improvement. ANZ’s Business Growth Program, a collaboration with the University of South Australia’s Australian Centre for Business Growth, aims to help businesses determine the best strategies to achieving sustainable growth - one of the biggest dilemmas facing today’s CEOs. In fact, ANZ research suggests that only 20 per cent of Australia’s business owners have a clear plan when it comes to growing their business.

To extend the program’s reach, ANZ launched the Business Growth online education guide providing every Australian small-to-medium business with access to the resources and lessons from our award-winning program.
