Working with the world’s most reputable and famous cosmetics is both a pleasure and a challenge (in a good way!). Always pushing the boundaries on what’s possible, Good Things has been pleased to work on hundreds of custom briefs down to the most minute details that result in a fabulous brand experience for clients and customers alike.


A Good Brief

We love a clear brief, and L’Oreal Australia gave us exactly that with a sole objective - to boost sales for their colour portfolio across Australia.

We needed to come up with an irresistible offer that would have the salons scrambling to stock Redken's products. The Good Things team whipped out a fine-tooth comb and ran it through Redken's brand profile, customer demographics, and salon profiles.

One thing was clear, Redken had a strong community that could be tapped into via their email and other digital marketing platforms. We knew if we could create good things, their engaged audience would be ready to snap it up.

So our design team put their heads together to brainstorm, design, mock-up and present three items that we believed would help L’Oreal Australia kick their goals. After the samples had been delivered straight to their door and the L’Oreal team had time to digest our presentation - there was one clear winner.


A Good Idea

As well all know, content is king, and one way to vastly improve your content and showcase your offerings at their finest is with a well-lit set-up. Salons are no exception, so our team designed up a custom made, Redken branded selfie light. The selfie campaign was a straightforward Gift With Purchase (GWP), no catches, and incredibly effective. The results speak for themselves.


Good Results

Mission accomplished:

  • During the GWP campaign, Redken saw a massive 20% increase in sales across their colour portfolio, Australia-wide.
  • This significant increase represented a 1000% ROI on the campaign spend.
  • Redken's Brand Manager, Michael Doherty, was extremely pleased with the uptick in sales and the positive feedback from salon partners.
