Redington Limited drives sustainability initiatives with Dell Technologies as its Recycling Partner

Redington Limited has joined hands with Dell Technologies to drive sustainability focused initiatives in India. Through this partnership, Redington Limited will be offering Dell Technologies’ Asset Resale and Recycling Services (ARRS) to customers, which will help them reduce environmental impact and drive positive outcomes for their businesses and society.?Dell Technologies’ ARRS enables businesses to resell, recycle or return to lease - the legacy IT equipment, securely and sustainably, while unlocking value that can be put towards future innovation.

The synergy between #Redington and #delltechnologies is aimed at maximizing reuse and value return to reduce the overall impact on the environment. It will save time by reselling and recycling outdated hardware, reduce environmental impact by diverting e-waste from landfill sites and also securely save data from unauthorized access. Dell offers global scale and consistency with a proven track record of excellence in the IT asset disposition industry. It has recovered 2.5B lbs of e-waste since 2008 and continues to adhere to strict regulatory compliance standards worldwide.

Redington has a long-term commitment towards helping the IT industry and the larger ecosystem recycle e-waste safely and properly. It ensures this by conducting frequent visits and audits at every step of the process involved in the disposal of e-waste. It also organises various awareness programmes to educate the society and public about the necessity of proper disposal of e-waste and the adverse effects, if done otherwise.

Further, in association with Redington Foundation for CSR, it has been driving multiple awareness campaigns and rallies. It has set-up E-Waste bins in schools and colleges to persuade the students to drop the e-waste in the bins for safe disposal. ?
