In the world of sports we've found it easy to define a champion. It's the individual or team that has defeated all rivals or accomplished a defined milestone.
From the leading scorer of the league to the Super Bowl Champion, these icons clearly stand out from their collective peers because of their sports accomplishments.
But what does a champion look like in real life?
What does a champion look like for a business, a society, or a family?
The world today has given me pause, and time to reflect on my life, what I do, and what it really means to Change Like a Champion.
The standard definition of a Champion includes: surpassing sports rivals, honors in battle, and militant defenders.
All of these descriptions ring true, and I consider myself fortunate that many people I call friends fall under these various definitions of champion, yet there is another facet of championship behavior that must be acknowledged.
This is the knowledge and acceptance that I may not be okay right now, but I am willing to plan, persevere, and improve.......everyday.
The very act of identifying my own areas of development, while being open to finding a new way to improve those areas, demonstrates that I have the capacity to Change Like a Champion.
Everyone has the ability to Change Like a Champion.

Being the best you is a goal we can all strive for, on a daily basis.
It is okay, not to be okay. If you need help, ask for it. If you can help, then do so. This is a great place to start if you’re looking to improve.
As a good friend of mine likes to say, “The Tide Lifts All Boats,” and when it comes to organizations, it is better to move one thousand people one foot than to have one-person move one thousand feet.?
Winning does not happen by accident.
Each of us have a unique purpose for which we've been created.
I may not be the person I once was, but I have the opportunity to become the person I've always wanted to be – changing on purpose, for a purpose - like a champion.
