Redeeming Time: The Unit of Destiny

Beloved, as we approach the dawn of a new quarter, let us pause and reflect on the essence of time. Scripture implores us in Ephesians 5:16 to redeem the time because the days are evil. This poignant reminder calls us to cherish each moment, for time is the very unit upon which destinies are built. While material things and relationships may be lost and found, time that is lost through misuse and abuse is irrevocably gone.
Many of us have been granted opportunities, privileges, and access that are invaluable. Yet, there are times when these gifts are squandered through a spirit of entitlement or misuse of the networks and connections we are privileged to have. Such privileges can swiftly be withdrawn when they are not handled with discernment, wisdom, or gratitude. This loss often stems from ignorance or during tests and trials where our character is refined.
As we stand on the brink of the third quarter, it is imperative to engage in deep self-examination, as 2 Corinthians 13:5 exhorts us. We must ask ourselves tough, introspective questions: How have we managed our time and the divine appointments given to us? Have we honored or squandered the relationships and resources entrusted to our care?
This period of reflection is not to condemn but to prepare us for restoration. Like the prodigal son, whose journey of reckless abandon led to a place of brokenness, we too can find redemption and restoration. When he returned to his father in humility and repentance, acknowledging his failures, he was not only forgiven but was also restored to his place in his father's house. In our brokenness and acknowledgment of our inadequacies, we too can find mercy and grace. As Psalms 51:17 tells us, a broken and contrite heart, God will not despise.

Knowledge is pivotal, as stated in Proverbs 11:9. It is through divine illumination and understanding that we discern the steps needed to reclaim what has been lost and to walk in the fullness of what God has prepared for us. Our actions must be driven by faith—a faith that is active and aligned with God's word, ensuring the manifestation of His promises in our lives.
As we move forward, let it be our earnest prayer and endeavor that our lives reflect the gospel, being living epistles read by all. May this next quarter bring you closer to the fulfillment of your God-ordained destiny, and may your steps be ordered in wisdom and revelation.
"May your life be a living epistle this year!"

5 个月This is a profound lesson . Procrastination is the thief of time. We get so caught up in distractions that we forget what really matters. Then, when our plans go awry, we seek solace in blaming third parties for our misfortune.
