In the heart of a vibrant garden, where the scent of herbs and the colors of nature come alive, a beautiful idea was born. It was a day like any other at the Western Reserve Herb Society Gardens, where I volunteer and find solace in the embrace of Mother Earth. But on this particular day, my dear friend Jane brought a dream with her, a dream that would ignite a spark of inspiration and lead to the birth of something truly magical – Redecorating the Soul.

My friend Jane is an absolutely fascinating woman, and when she speaks, I listen with rapt attention. She arrived at the garden, her eyes dancing with excitement, and said, "I've got to tell you about this amazing dream that I had last night!" Intrigued, I took a seat on one of the chiseled stone blocks that mark the entrance to our garden sanctuary.

As she began to weave the tale of her dream, I was transported to a world of wonder. In her dream, Jane was visited by a procession of enchanting beings – elves, fairies, and dwarfs. These mystical creatures, so full of life and energy, were busy moving in and out of her heart. They carried with them a treasure trove of beautiful items – chandeliers, paintings, mirrors, dishes, draperies, and gorgeous silken rugs.

Ever curious, Jane asked the magical visitors what they were doing. Their laughter filled the dreamlike landscape as they replied, "Why, we're redecorating your soul, dear Jane! Your inner décor has gotten a wee bit dated, and you haven't washed your windows in centuries!"

As I listened to Jane's story, I couldn't help but notice a transformation in her. She's always had a twinkle in her eye, for she carries the spirit of an Irish elf within her. But on this day, she was positively effervescent. The experience of having her soul redecorated from the inside out had rekindled the flames of her passions and her life's work.
