RedDrop, a Period Care Brand, Takes the Black Ambition Prize

Recently, RedDropCo earned the $1 million grand prize from Pharrell Williams' Black Ambition, an initiative dedicated to closing opportunity and wealth gaps through entrepreneurship. This well-deserved recognition highlights the incredible journey of RedDrop, which started 16 years ago with a vision to create real change and officially became a company in 2019.
With over 100,000 orders, RedDrop impacts more than half a million girls daily in schools across the U.S. Black Health Matters interviewed Dr. Monica Williams and Dana Roberts to learn more about their mission, the challenges they’ve overcome, and plans for the future.
The founders shared how the Black Ambition Prize provides vital funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities, fueling their growth and helping them reach even more young girls. Their vision?
