REDD Asia: Alam Sutera seeks consent from existing lenders to get new loan to refinance USD bond

REDD Asia continues to provide excusive coverage of Indonesian property developer Alam Sutera Realty’s latest USD bond refinancing efforts.

On 26 April, REDD broke news that the Alam Sutera had received term sheets from at least two Indonesian banks for IDR-denominated loan facilities to refinance its outstanding USD 246.7m bond due November 2025.

On 4 June, REDD exclusively reported that Alam Sutera had picked one bank and is now seeking consent from existing syndicate lenders to allow the developer to obtain a new IDR 3.9tn (USD 240m) loan to refinance the 2025 bond.



REDD LATAM: Jose Luis Manzano: From lawmaker to empire-builder.

Jose Luiz Manzano is an Argentine businessman who started his career as a politician.After working in the former Carlos Menem government, he left Argentina and moved to the US. It was in the US where he started Integra Capital, in 1995. Since then, Manzano created a network of companies, investing in different sectors. His latest move was buying Volcan Compania Minera, in Peru, from Glencore while the miner renegotiated its debt.



REDD CEEMEA: Trans-Oil weighs refi options ahead of 2026 maturity.

Ahead of Trans-Oil's fiscal FY24 results, the company is weighing its options for the refinancing of its USD 500m 2026 bond. In an exclusive interview with REDD Intelligence, the CEEMEA-based agri-business' management outlined their debt priorities. Meanwhile, some bondholders have already communicated their refinancing preferences to the company, REDD reported.
