Red Wings Boeing 777 In-Flight Emergency

A Red Wings-operated Boeing 777, on flight WZ-3072 from Antalya to Koltsovo, experienced a right engine failure while flying over the Caspian Sea. Pilots reported the issue and requested descent to 25,000 feet (7600 meters), without declaring an emergency. Approximately 1.5 hours later, the aircraft safely diverted and landed in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, with passengers informed of an unscheduled landing due to technical malfunctions, as . Virgin Australia Grounds Two 737-800s Due to Unapproved Engine Parts

Two Virgin Australia Boeing 737-800s were grounded after unapproved engine parts, sourced from UK's AOG Technics Ltd, were fitted inadvertently. The parts came with EASA certification documents which were later identified as falsified. This follows a recent European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) notification about suspected unapproved parts from AOG Technics and legal action by CFM International, who found 68 of its engines fitted with such parts.

Divided into three parts, it presents global and EU sustainability standards, explores sustainability's role in various aircraft lifecycle sectors, and provides weighted recommendations for numerous stakeholders across the aircraft's lifespan.
