RED- We are Monsters!

We failed as humans a long long time ago when NIRBHAYA happened, or maybe before that who cares! Though justice was served, yet no one can even understand a pinch of her suffering from that night. NO! I am not talking about what her family faced, what other people went through because of that rape. don't care about the families or people neither I am talking about them here, I am talking about her, about her torn clothes, her broken trust in humanity, and about those shattered dreams, what I am telling you all is after we come across such news, we all say ample of things starting with, this is wrong! Rapists shall be punished! Candle March! We should protest against the govt.! Let's burn the buses and blah blah. Tell me the truth for once, okay tell it to yourself, close your eyes for a minute and ask, Is this enough? Is this what today's situations and mother earth demand from us? Is this what these rape victims want us to do? more than that ask yourself for once even if this is what this situation demands, so, is it working for human good? Can we stop future rapes like this? NO! this all is not working. we really need to change our approach. These candle march and protests are not working. We gotta accept this. this is high time. we need to find some other way out to stop this.

Honestly, have you ever thought about those hours or those days of her life when she was being raped by those monsters and she was crying and screaming out of pain for help, not being able to differentiate on her tears that whether she is crying out of pain or for help or for this life that her mother gave her? Do we ever talk about her, about her faith totally shattered, about her opinions? Do we ever talk about that broken trust? Do we talk about those beautiful eyes which will never see this world the way they used to? Did we ever talk about her nightmares and her sleepless dark nights? Do we ever give a thought to that pain she was in while she was in that bus getting raped or on those streets or room or maybe the jungle? One after the other so-called human break her, they fail her, they fail humans and then they rape her. 

?Every time you rape a female you kill her. You destroy her. I feel sad for you all if you still think we are human beings. No, we have turned into monsters. Next time on Dussehra don't burn the dummy of Ravan because honestly, he was a real nice man comparing to today. He knew and considered his limits even when he could have done anything to Devi Sita but he chooses to rather not touch her. He kept her safe! Next time rather preaching goddess Durga or Maa kali in Navratri or Bhavya Durga pooja, visit the rape victim and try to restore her faith in humanity. Try to make this world and this country a better place for them. I am very sure Maa Durga will be much happier with you when one of her roops will be treated the way they deserve.
