Assistant Boat Fleet Technical Manager needed at a Luxury Holiday Resort “ in red sea” ,

Able to :

1. Maintenance and Services management of all boats
2. Preventative maintenance
3. Troubleshooting and repair of yacht system breakdowns
4. Arranging and management of service technicians for major repairs
5. Tightly run supplier / spare parts ordering in advance
6. Tightly run stock control, stock receiving, inventory and stock release to various boats
7. Yearly yard period planning, budgeting and dry dock management
8. Crew training – crew need regular training on safety protocols, fire drills and first aid knowledge

Notes :

• The yachts each have captains and deckhands;
• Outside service technicians are called from Cairo for major repairs but the majority of regular, smaller repairs are done on site, ourselves;
• The RIBs have Mercury Outboard engines and are serviced by a Mercury technician who comes from Cairo for the service hours;
• The job is 50/50 hands-on but also a lot of admin and paperwork – such as ordering of spare parts far in advance so having a well-run inventory of parts is important – the candidate needs to be able to work a computer and do email/admin skills besides working hands-on;

Salary from 80k-130k .
