What is Red Nose Day USA?

Red Nose Day USA is celebrated every year in the United States to raise funds and make a difference for kids in need. To raise funds, people across the country come together at their homes, schools, or workplaces to do something funny. Apart from this, a fund-raising event is organized from the evening to the early hours of the following morning and broadcasted live on a National TV channel. It’s a wonderful, star-studded night of entertainment on TV to inspire the nation to give open-heartedly. The funds raised this day will support poverty-focused charities working both in the United States and around the world.The event was first conducted in The United Kingdom on February 5, 1988, but it was launched in the United States in 2015 and is back yet again this year.

Last year the funds raised were over 23 million dollars. Wow! Isn’t that a huge amount raised in a single day? That was possible only because everybody joined hands for a great cause. Such is the power collaboration of people has.
