Red letter day 14-August-1947

Dear Pakistan’s Nation

Today on 14th August we are celebrating the 75 Independence Day of Pakistan, I can see the Love and Janoon of our nation towards our beloved country which is remarkable,?meantime we must remember those valiant soldiers, officers and others belonging to the Army, Air Force, Navy and martyred migrated families of 1947’s migration who displayed magnificent heroism and sacrifices their lives and make us breath in an independent country.

How can we forget such heroes?

How can we forget those wounded soldiers whose only wish was: how can we get well and rejoin our battalion to repulse the enemy, How can we forget the members of the families of those brave martyrs, who, on receiving the body of their beloved, said, We do not have tears in our eyes, we have pride in our heart ?

How can we forget the mother whose lament was that she had had only one son, and therefore, could not send another to fight for our Country.

All of us should bow our heads in gratitude for those who were martyred in the war of 1947, 1965, 1971, 1999 and countless martyred on our borders. They are the real heroes My salute to all of our heroes with the core of my heart. Long live Pakistan.
