ICAA-NW + Red Leaf Stone - Shop Tour

Red Leaf Stone, in collaboration with the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, is hosting a Friday afternoon shop tour. This tour is open to anyone that might have a professional interest in seeing our operations: Architects, Designers, Engineers, Builders, Masons and Suppliers. The intention is to explain our creative and digital workflow, engineering studies, scope constructability analysis, demonstrate how that is migrated onto the shop floor so that quarry blocks can be primary cut, resulting thicknesses converted into secondary processes and the ensuing machining steps. Tour participants will be shown through the shop during our day-shift, while staff and equipment are producing the various work orders on hand that day. This includes both stone and steel manufacturing, plus discussion surrounding installation. Site foremen will be on-hand to answer questions regarding installation (dampproofing, mortars, anchoring, etc.)

As a thank-you for your time and willingness to venture out to Abbotsford, the tour will conclude with a complimentary hosted tasting at Raven's Brewing: Raven's Brewing
