Red Gold's Bloody Mary Mix Wins Innovation Award

(Chicago, IL)—New Huy Fong? Sriracha Bloody Mary Mix by Red Gold? has earned recognition as one of America’s most innovative products for 2020. The National Restaurant Association (NRA) announced the Food and Beverage Innovation Award (FABI) by saying, “This premium cocktail mix is mildly sweet, with the lingering heat of the Original Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce”.

This year’s 29 FABI Award recipients were selected based on their positive benefits to restaurant operators and consumers by an independent panel of experts, representing a variety of both commercial and non-commercial industry segments.

 The FABI designation means that the new Red Gold product is breaking new ground in taste, creativity, packaging, and profit potential. These industry-altering products will shape the future of food and beverage with flavorful and marketable items designed to delight diners and drive sales for years to come.

 According to Datassential, menuing for Bloody Mary’s in America’s bars and restaurants has grown by more than 15% since 2016. The new Huy Fong Sriracha Bloody Mary Mix can also be used to create Bloody Maria’s (tequila instead of vodka) and Micheladas (beer instead of vodka). Menuing of Micheladas were up 17.7% in 2019 according to Datassential.

Huy Fong Sriracha Bloody Mary Mix is available in 32 ounce glass bottles. It is the latest from a line of Huy Fong-branded products for foodservice by Red Gold, including: Huy Fong Sriracha Ketchup. The ketchup earned an NRA FABI award in 2017 and is available to in convenient 8-gram portion control packets, 20-ounce squeeze bottles, 1.5-gallon dispenser pouches and 113 oz. jug pumps.
