Words from the MD: I know it’s a cliché but time really does fly when you are having fun! I am feeling really inspired at the moment as the office has a real buzz about it, I can sense the wider market picking up and we have begun working with a number of new exciting clients on some interesting and critical roles for their businesses, continuing to set ourselves apart supporting all of our forward-thinking clients across the Maritime industry. It has been another busy month from a work perspective but we were also able to take some time out to celebrate our wins at Flight Club in Glasgow playing social darts…if you’ve never experienced it, you’re missing out!
Flight Club: October saw the team enjoy a night out at the newly opened Flight Club in Glasgow (if you haven't been we highly recommend it). And what a night it was! With VIP treatment, a very competitve game of darts (with Matt and Paula fighting it out for 1st Place) and lots of cocktails and music...we couldn't have asked for a better night. It was a great way to welcome Paula to the team too. Now time to start organising the team Christmas Party!! ??
New Clients: We have been working with lots of new clients this month which the team are very excited about. Leigh and Stacey got the opportunity to visit one of the new clients down in Birmingham a few weeks ago. This was the only photo we thought to take, but it was an extremely productive meeting and so nice to be able to meet the team in person. Watch this space for lots of new roles hitting our website.
Mental Health Awareness: On 10th October 2023 it was Mental Health Awareness Day. It is not just important on this day, but all year round. This day is great at raising awareness and good to remind everyone that it's good to talk and there is always someone there if you need them. If you do feel like you need someone to talk to here are some useful numbers:

Great Scottish Run 2023: Our running-mad MD completed the Great Scottish Run at the beginning of October in aid of Diabetes UK. This charity is doing so much valuable work supporting those with diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2) and are getting closer and closer to that elusive cure.? The event is one of the biggest in the Scottish running calendar with thousand of runners taking part and throngs of supporters around the route. The Glasgow crowd is always extremely raucous and the music along the way really helps push you towards the finish line!
