Recycling robots?

The Guardian Sustainable Business Innovation has published an article asking if recycling robots and AI could improve recycling. See: https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/2017/mar/21/recycling-robots-ai-uks-decline-waste The question is one I often ask "Can tech alone fix it?" and the answer is "No, but it will be important". A bigger moral question is "Will tech become our master or our servant in a resource constrained world?" That debate is for another article.
