Recycling for a greater, greener Saudi Arabia!

Every year, #InternationalRecyclingDay provides people and communities across the world an important timely reminder to safeguard the environment and protect our natural surroundings. It reflects the need for unified, proactive action to create a greener, healthier world.

At 百事 , we approach every single day with the sustainable outlook and eco-conscious spirit.

To celebrate the occasion, we would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to making a more sustainable Saudi Arabia. Earlier this year, we set about providing consumers the opportunity to create an even greener tomorrow through the launch of a first-of-its-kind initiative: the Yalla Return program.

Launched in partnership with BinDawood Holding 's Danube and Nadeera , the collection program enables people to recycle and engage in environmental aid.

Participants are rewarded for their recyclables, receiving points — on a dedicated Yalla Return app — that can be redeemed at Danube Jeddah branches – Tahlia and AlNahda.

To our delight, the program continues to grow at a steady pace, with the Yalla Return app attracting active users. Since its launch, over 1,023 kilograms of materials have been recycled through the program.

Encouraged by the support we have received from our dedicated participants, over the next two months PepsiCo will be giving Yalla Return app users the chance to also recycle for a cause.

Launching May 17th on the occasion of International Recycling Day until the end of July 2024, PepsiCo Middle East will be donating double the equivalence of Yalla Return participants’ points, to the ??? ?????? ??????? ????? Saudi Food Bank in support people in need.
