Today, the world is all about new technologies and innovations. They bring convenience and new functionality to our lives. However, the more devices and gadgets we have, the more energy we need. And in terms of consumption and production, humans tend to be very wasteful.
But what if we could learn to
recycle energy?
We need to take a universal product, something we use daily, in order to adapt energy recycling in our lives. Coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages around the world.
Torben Berger (Application Developer & Engineer), Dominik Heinrich (Creative Director Innovation) Mark Hollering (Creative Technology Director) and Christian Endecott (Concept) all from MRM//McCANN are the founders of the CupLoader – the first cup of coffee with a positive effect. This travel mug uses the heat of coffee and turns it into electrical energy, which allows us to charge our mobile devices - on the go.
Saving the world one cup at a time.
We want to integrate the CupLoader into our daily lives. The coffee houses can sell the CupLoader together with their own products. The product itself is small and light, allowing us to carry it every where.
At the same the CupLoader can replace the paper cup/mug we receive from coffee houses, this way not only energy can be saved but also paper production and waste can be reduced.
Coffee is universal, healthy, habitual and social. And now it’s even eco-friendly. We want to integrate the CupLoader into our daily lives. Every cup of coffee can make the world a little bit better.
Increasing Scarcity:
The Case of Energy Resources
Instead of just taking one energy source for granted, we can use the energy it creates. The CupLoader is even just the beginning of a smart solution of recycling energy. We working on several solutions to make this change happen.
