Packaging. Manufacturing & development. Specialists in absorbency, bags/pouches/films (including flexibles), and board.
WILL we see you at Packaging Innovations in Birmingham next week?
Recyclable packaging will be the theme of our stand when we exhibit at the NEC - and we're looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand (F44).
Whether it's food or non-food, we have packaging solutions to help. Recyclable packaging from Sirane includes our paper-recyclable pouches and films, recyclable boards including coated boards, and recyclable plastics.
We can even offer a range of recyclable absorbent pads…
Karl Heggarty, head of global sales, said: “Sirane is well known for NPD and in recent years we’ve added a wide range of recyclable packaging options to our range.
“These include our barrier films papers, which are available as both stand-up pouches and flow-wrap film, and our recyclable RePEat films and pouches.
“Our coated boards offer recyclable alternatives for products such as salmon boards, meat boards, cake boards/collars and patisserie boards – with water-based coatings meaning the board has the required moisture/grease barrier but is recyclable.
“And we’ve recently added a range of paper recyclable absorbent pads – our Earthpads – including the latest addition, which is a cushioned pad for soft fruit.
“So if recyclable packaging is what you’re looking for, be sure to visit the team at the NEC on stand F44. We’d be happy to look at your packaging requirements.”
Our recyclable barrier films and papers – Earthpouch and Earthfilm – are recyclable as part of the paper recycling stream and are endorsed by the UK recycling association.
These heat-sealable paper packaging solutions are suitable for both food and non-food, with formats including flow-wrap film and stand-up pouches available.
Our paper-packaging range also includes reusable twisted-handle paper grab bags.

Recent additions to this range include Earthpouch Duo – a stand-up pouch with a window – and Earthpouch Supreme, which is an ovenable 3-side seal pouch.
Our RePEat films are mono-material LDPE and recyclable in the PE recycling stream. Options here include stand-up pouches, 3-side seal pouches, flow-wrap film, vacuum pouches, spouted pouches and reusable thermally insulated bags.
Peter Ralten, commercial & business development director, said: “Whether you’re looking for heat-sealable recyclable paper-based packaging or recyclable plastics, Sirane can offer a wide range of pouches and flow-film films.
“And it’s not just the materials that are sustainable, we offer water-based printing and use only water-based adhesives – it’s as eco-friendly as it can be.”
And our coated boards are recyclable in the paper/card recycling stream. The boards also use only water-based coatings to give them the required barrier.
“Recent developments here include recyclable salmon boards, recyclable charcuterie boards, and recyclable cake boards – all available in a range of colours including gold, silver, black and white, as well as custom colours and even custom printed.
“Our recyclable board range also includes U-cards & J-cards, pizza boards, ovenable boards and more”, said Ross Griffin, director or board products at Sirane.
Sirane is well known for absorbency – and our recyclable absorbent pad range includes our Earthpad, recyclable with the paper recycling stream, Earthpad Soft-Hold, a cushioned paper-based pad, and Earthpad Supreme, which is ovenable.
