The Recurring Revenue System

When I met Stuart, a Wordpress Developer, and his wife Martha for the first time, they had several goals:

? to get married

? generate £3k/mth revenue

? so Martha could quit her job and help Stuart

? and get their first office

At the time though they were selling websites for £395 and hosting/support for just £8/mth.

That’s a lot of £8’s to get to £3k/mth, trust me. Nearly 400 clients, which would be impossible for Stuart to manage and not generate enough revenue to get some help.

We re-jigged his website packages, which now start at triple the price...but when I suggested selling support packages at £50/mth I was met with the usual response of, “No-one will ever pay that much for web hosting/support!”

Challenge accepted!!

No, there are no guarantees, and this isn’t one of those get rich quick systems (excuse the pun!).

Generating significant recurring revenue takes time and commitment.

So, when I got the attached email, I couldn’t have been happier. Stuart and Martha put in the hard yards, serious hard yards over the course of 2 years, put their faith in me and trusted in the process.

Now...the cool thing is...

That £3k is JUST recurring revenue. They actually did £6,500 in March alone including support, project fees and deposits.

A far cry from the £800/mth they were making when we met 2 years earlier.

The process is three fold:

1?? Rebuild your product packages - break the offer down, build it back up into both core products and follow on (recurring) products.

2?? Pricing - everyone undervalued themselves and can charge more. Pricing is actually based on basic belief systems. You can change your belief. But first you have to realise the amazing value you offer your clients, because you get great results.

3?? Sales - most consultants struggle to articulate their value. Your product is now better, your prices now higher, so you’ve got to get better at sales. It’s got nothing to do with sales pitches, dodgy sales techniques or anything like that. It’s a simple process of learning to articulate your value.

Simply put, no tricks, funnels, systems or whizzy things.

Just basic business fundamentals.
