This month I'll share some new feature updates from Wix.

Power Hour

We've been busy the last month with Power Hours for clients who already have a Wix website and either need help redesigning it, adding more advanced issues, need a pair of professional eyes on their website. A couple of these sites have also been on Wix Studio more focused on breakpoint optimisation.

Updates from Wix

Some amazing updates from Wix Studio, some of these updates also apply to the classic editor.

Wix Media - Upload from another Wix site

You can now search, sort, and change layout when uploading media from other Wix sites.

Wix Events: set up recurring events more quickly

Wix Events got a small improvement with a big impact. You can now set up recurring events in one go, instead of adding dates one at a time.

When setting up the recurring event, choose how frequently it happens (for example, monthly or every 2 weeks) and which days of the week it repeats on, and subsequent events will be added automatically.

Update fonts for themed text in bulk

You can now efficiently change fonts in bulk, across all site typography styles, via Site Styles, on the left side of the Editor. In just a few clicks, you can use the dropdown to view all font options and change them—wherever the font is used—so that they instantly update across all Site Typography Styles.

New: Export filtered invoices as a CSV file

Introducing the new filtered invoice feature from your Billing History page. You can now apply filters such as year, site, or status to export a specific group of invoices as a CSV file. This feature enables users to tailor their billing experience whilst giving them a more organized invoice management for different needs.

We are also planning to release an addition to this feature, the ability to download filtered invoices ?as PDF files.

Try out different Section Grid layouts by flipping columns and rows

Flip around Section Grid columns and rows to experiment with different layouts and find the best way to present your content.

Instead of dragging to swap cells, you can now flip the grid layout vertically or horizontally in one click. The content inside stays the same while the cells themselves get repositioned.

Find the flip options in the Inspector panel under Adjust grid.

Add an eye-catching text marquee without code

You can now add a fully accessible, SEO-friendly text marquee to get visitors to take action, or as an engaging part of your design. No workarounds or code needed.

Add the text marquee element from the Add panel under either Text or Decorative. The text automatically duplicates and scrolls left or right, and you can customize with vector art to separate the text.

Remove unwanted objects from images with the Object Eraser

Clean up images and remove unwanted objects or people in a few clicks with the new AI-powered Object Eraser.

Go to Object Eraser in the Photo Studio and select the area that contains the object you want to remove. Get more precise by changing the brush size or magnifying the area.
